Our Team

With a culture that is firmly planted with roots of personal accountability and mutual respect, USAL’s leadership team has the experience, know-how and passion to continually set a high bar of exceptional performance and customer service within the auto transportation industry.

Richard Binkley

With over 40 years of auto transportation and executive leadership experience, Richard is well known in the industry for his traffic efficiency innovation through strategic backhauling, business growth planning and “associate-first” philosophy. As president of US AutoLogistics since 2006, Richard has expanded the company’s roadmap to a national presence with partnerships amongst the world’s best automobile brands. Prior to coming to USAL, he served a 30-year stint in multiple capacities at Jack Cooper Transport with his final role as vice president of operations. Having been brought up in the industry, Richard espouses a refreshing perspective on what it takes to sustain business while operating at an “always better, never best” level of exceptional performance. With USAL’s unique values-based culture of accountability, Richard sees himself as an organizational shepherd – one who places transport drivers at the top of the organizational chart to help ensure all associates are guided in the same direction. Richard holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Southern Illinois University, and serves as a board member for the Texas Trucking Association and as a chairman for the Automobile Carriers Conference of the American Trucking Associations. He and his wife, Jeannie, live in The Woodlands, Texas and enjoy their time together as empty nesters and doting grandparents.
